A letter from the Craftsman behind the Business, Dan.

As a boy, I lived in my Grandmother’s 1940s brick bungalow home. It was the place where I felt most safe and well-loved. It was during this period of time that my love for older homes began to grow. Over the years, I have traveled to different regions along the East Coast, to areas rich in vintage and historic architecture where I renovated, remodeled and restored old homes: New England; Savannah, GA; Charleston, SC. I even moved my family inland to historic San Marcos, TX for a time to restore an 1800s farmhouse that was built with cedar stumps as its foundation. Each location offered unique home improvement challenges and new lessons; an education that has spanned over three decades.

The education continues today.
